What do we install in your home?
We supply and install a small, discrete, smart thermostat to each of your electric heating appliances for free. These are connected to each appliance and linked together via a gateway device.
You either let Voltalis work silently in the background, or you have the option to take advantage of the Voltalis mobile and web app to control your radiators remotely, monitor your use, or switch the functionality off completely if desired.
After you book your free installation, a qualified electrician will visit your home to install your smart thermostats. The process takes about 15 minutes per device, is straightforward and clean, and our devices are designed to fit discreetly into your home.
How is Voltalis free?
Voltalis is completely free for users. We cover the cost of your smart thermostats, installation, maintenance, and associated services for every customer.
Why? Because Voltalis is already paid by the electricity network for its contribution to securing stability and security of energy for the future.
During peak consumption periods, when energy production drops or when there is a failure in the network, the electricity network must maintain balance, generally by activating fossil fuel power plants, which are polluting and expensive.
At these times, Voltalis provides the electricity network with flexible load, enabling a reduction in demand rather than increased supply.
